Trammell Venture Partners is a venture capital fund management firm involved in seed-stage investment in highly technical areas. Our investment focus is on three key sectors: machine intelligence, cybersecurity, and blockchain technology, which we believe are the next wave of industry disruptors. Our methodology augments a rigorous market and management team diligence with deep technical expertise, bringing insight, coaching, and value beyond the scope of most firms or private investors in the seed capital landscape. Our belief is that our limited partners are our co-investors and that the entrepreneurs and companies we invest in are our customers.
Our Trammell Productions business unit organizes two yearly conferences. InfoSec Southwest provides an educational forum for professionals and hobbyists in the information security and hacking community, and celebrated its fifth year in 2016. BodyHacking Con debuted in 2016, and brought together a diverse collection of speakers and enthusiasts interested in the use of technology to improve, optimize, and augment their cognitive and physical performance.
Trammell Ventures is a direct investor in several enterprises. Our portfolio focus is on information security and cybersecurity, Bitcoin and blockchain, and machine intelligence. Not just a financial investor, we provide technical architecture and design review, security assessment, recruitment assistance, and other mentorship for our portfolio companies.
Trammell Ventures runs an engineering lab project incubator with on-staff engineering. Current products include ExploitHub, the original marketplace for software exploits, Achieve Mint, a gamification platform, and American Information Security Group, a boutique information security professional services firm. We are also working on new projects behind the scenes and are excited to announce them soon.
